Study: Alabama hunters contribute nearly $2B to state’s economy

A new study showed that Alabama’s more than 700,000 hunters and anglers have a $1.7 billion economic impact on the state each year. The report, which was produced by the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, said spending by hunters and anglers in Alabama support 30,500 jobs, which generates payroll of $785 million….
